Rohit Sharma Dismisses Form Concerns Ahead of England ODI Series


India’s ODI captain Rohit Sharma has brushed aside concerns about his form ahead of the upcoming series against England. Speaking at a press conference on the eve of the first ODI in Nagpur, Rohit expressed his displeasure when questioned about his recent performances.


"What kind of a question is that? This is a different format, different time," he responded firmly.


Rohit, who faced challenges during India's tour of Australia, emphasized that fluctuations in form are a natural part of a cricketer's journey. "As players, we understand that ups and downs are part of the game. I have been through such phases many times, and this is nothing new for me," he said.

The experienced opener remained confident about starting afresh in the ODI series and focused on the immediate challenge rather than dwelling on past performances. He also declined to comment on his future beyond the Champions Trophy, keeping his focus solely on the present assignments.


With Rohit leading the team, India aims to put up a strong performance against England in the upcoming matches. Fans will be eager to see how he responds with the bat in this crucial series.
